［ Characteristics of the plant ］
It is a plant of the mint family that can grow up to 1.5m or 2m tall, and is known for its stemless, long, strong leaves that are dark green and shiny at the top and whitish at the bottom, which grow all year round. The name rosemary comes from the fact that the Romans called it "rosmarinus" (dew of the sea). It was thought that its spicy scent was due to dew that had adhered to the plant at night. It was already cultivated between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers 3,000 years ago.
